We were really happy to score permits - and a fun hiking partner in my brother Kip! We planned this one for a while and it was exciting when the day finally arrived. The trail was long, beautiful, interesting, and offered spectacular scenery in all directions. We had a great time taking bunches of summit photos before starting the long trail back down.
